Well I've tried to not think about it...

but now I'm starting to get sad about it all.

A few good reasons why today would be a great day for a stork arrival.

*I have make up on.

*My laundry is done.

*I have absolutely nothing else planned for today or tomorrow for that matter.

*The floors are clean.

*I am out of chocolate.

*I even straightened my hair with the pricey product. ;0)

*The last words out of G's mouth before going to school was directions for me to stay home and wait for the call.

These past 2 days have been torturous. My girl is alive and every day I sit here in waiting, she sits in an orphanage without a family. I am slowly losing my mind, however, I'm thrilled beyond measure to hear that the 8th might be included as well! Please tell me I won't have to go through another weekend without any news. Somebody tell me how long it takes for the calls to begin after the stork takes flight. Seriously, I'm losing my mind.

Just waiting down here....

It's 10:00 PM here, which makes it 10:00 AM in China, chances of getting a call or even a rumor at this point are slim to none....I should consider sleep at this point in the day, but the thought of them working away over there gives me hope that something could transpire over the next 12 hours.

I was away from the computer all day and so was my back up girl, so I had to go to drastic measures to stay in touch with any breaking news & I trusted one of my very smartass friends with my log in info & password to keep an eye on the underground room. She restrained herself very well, not without a few threatening texts though. I swear, I do have the biggest set of smartass friends you'll ever encounter....I think that's why I luv 'em so.

The latest rumor is that referrals are signed off on, ready to go and apparently the stork is ready to fly but has not been given the go ahead. The bird better fly tomorrow or we might be looking at a longggggg weekend with no info till Monday & that would go over with me like a lead balloon.

So unless the rumor is just that, a rumor...then we are looking at Thursday. I will however be home nonstop now, just waiting and refreshing.

Come on bird...FLY!!! You got all night to get here.

Rumors in the rumorville!?!?!

Not so sure it could possibly be true, but rumors are circulating that the CCAA has signed off on the referrals and they will be arriving this week. I guess the stork is on the runway and I need to wrap my mind around the fact that this is actually going to happen.....

honestly, I won't believe it till I see it.

This week is like a fairytale.

Lucky Me! We got another invite to leave town and it took me all of .2 seconds to drool like a pup and say yes. Short of the iphone, I will have no internet & the iphone is very sketchy for internet access there. So if anyone happens to spot a white stork, carrying a very heavy bag....CALL ME or send me an email so I get it on my phone, most of you have the number.

I'm positive nothing will go down till next week, but I'd like to cover all my bases just in case. This Mama doesn't want to miss the opportunity to see it all play out. Leaving town will be a great distraction from the obvious....& I'm not even sure that'll do the trick. I am certainly not the person to wish this time away, but I'm having a real hard time concentrating on anything else. We still have a life to live & I hope to do that to the fullest this weekend.

I'm thinking cornhole & cocktails are in order....

I escaped today and got a free ride to the mall. Shhh, don't tell anyone! Everyone that knows me, knows I h.a.t.e. the mall, but I really needed to make a trip to VS and I latched on to the first car that left our neighborhood.

I'd really like to have my truck back, I'm missing my Yuk0n something fierce.....but until then, I will beg, barter, plead & whine with anyone that'll take me out of my house!

Thank gawd for good friends.

Speaking of good friends.....hmmm, tell me why all the folks that really know me questioned my ability to keep this blog G rated.....??? O' Ye of little faith, just wait and see.

Welcome to my new site.

I feel like a virgin blogging on this site, it's so new and fresh and holds no archives. So as the CCAA is dusting the cobwebs off our dossier, it's time to make a move to something fresh.

I feel like I just need to get out a few good explicits to dirty it up a bit. However, I'm gonna try real hard to keep it G-PG rated, just for the sake of keeping things tidy=)
