It's 10:00 PM here, which makes it 10:00 AM in China, chances of getting a call or even a rumor at this point are slim to none....I should consider sleep at this point in the day, but the thought of them working away over there gives me hope that something could transpire over the next 12 hours.
I was away from the computer all day and so was my back up girl, so I had to go to drastic measures to stay in touch with any breaking news & I trusted one of my very smartass friends with my log in info & password to keep an eye on the underground room. She restrained herself very well, not without a few threatening texts though. I swear, I do have the biggest set of smartass friends you'll ever encounter....I think that's why I luv 'em so.
The latest rumor is that referrals are signed off on, ready to go and apparently the stork is ready to fly but has not been given the go ahead. The bird better fly tomorrow or we might be looking at a longggggg weekend with no info till Monday & that would go over with me like a lead balloon.
So unless the rumor is just that, a rumor...then we are looking at Thursday. I will however be home nonstop now, just waiting and refreshing.
Come on bird...FLY!!! You got all night to get here.

Okay I feel like a stalker between here and RQ and I actually joined the RQ on FB - oh no I need help. I so want it to happen before the weekend. It will, it has to. I'm off to check my agency website. Will write back if anything new. You guys getting your referal keeps me from thinking about the long wait for ours :)
I hope the stork catches the red eye to the US! The Pj's are adult size and SO cute! Seriously, i am SO excited for you...it probably sounds weird but I think everyday....OMG.... T is going to get her referral any day. I know we don't now each other in real life but I feel like one my good friends is about to get her referral. I guess that is what happens when you follow a blog for a few years....

Oh, the Friday thing happened to me. My agency is one that translates all the info and then makes the phone calls, so they're always a day behind the other agencies. Referrals started coming in on Friday. Someone in our lid group called and got a confirmation that referrals were in and that they would start calling on Monday. It was a long weekend and yet somehow I had peace with it. I did actually sleep Sunday night, but I was a wreck on Monday until the phone finally rang at 12:23 pm. It was so exciting to finally have a face and a name. I know it's hard to wait, but IT'S FINALLY YOUR TURN!!!! I can't wait to hear some good news from you!
I've been home a matter of hours... and just had to swing by... no news yet, huh?! Got everything crossed that you will hear those sweet words "We have your daughter" very very soon.
