W turned 5 on Monday. We did a little celebrating on Sunday with Grams and Gramps.
I have become very lazy at cake making these days and have decided that Pub*lix is definately the way to go, the 3 hours of cake researching that W did was just the added bonus.
This is the cake he chose for himself.

Girlfriend is partied out. 
Grams and Gramps took my 3 boys back with them for the week, so we are living a boy free week this week. Daddy only has to deal with his 2 girls, isn't he a lucky guy;)

Looks like he had a fabulous birthday. And I think his cake is awesome... store bought is just fine.
I seriously can't believe he is five. I remember starting to follow your blog and you were potty training him I believe :) I love Pub*lix cakes and their cupcake cakes are great too :) Enjoy your week. I wish I had more notice that we were meeting my inlaws tonight on 5th. I was relishing in the idea that we were finally alone after 2 weeks of company, especially at one of the worst times of our lives but alas, no alone time yet for us. tomorrow my mom arrives, family reunion this weekend, boat trip next week - then alone- perhaps. I'm trying to plan a Marco trip for Joe's bday - end of Aug. will keep you posted.

Happy Birthday W!!! How did he get so big and even more handsome each day (I can't ever get enough of his curls). As for the birthday cake, I love it and I can tell W did too. My favorite picture of him was the the one where he is getting ready to blow out the candles, and then him being proud to wear his big brother's hat, and well, they are all so cute!

I've been doing some catch up this morning as I myself have been taking a summer hiatus from blogging too. Wow.. The boys sure are growing up. You have a handsome bunch there. I love how "C" passed down to his little brother the OSU hat! That is some real brotherly love there! :0) And, what a sweet, sweet girl you have. LOVIN those dimples! That smile just lights up a room and definitely brings a smile to your readers I'm sure. :0)
Aren't Grandparents a blessing. It is a comfort to know that your kids are having great fun, are safe and you can get a little downtown without feeling guilty. Enjoy your week with Emme and your husband..........I think you should go get a pedicure. :)
