I had a completely different post planned for tonight & I fell into a blubbery mess when I opened my email to find this.....
I'm sure I don't need to tell you all what a blessing this is to have these 6 extra photos of Emerson dating from 9-8-08 to 3-10-09. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude. These photos came to me through a Spanish organization that sponsors children. Our family will forever be grateful for this program & we are already discussing what we can do as a family for the children left behind in Shangrao Ling Orphanage. Though we will bring our unforgotten daughter home, a piece of our heart will forever be with the children left behind.
Let me point out how small the world really is....
My dear friend K, decided to check with a friend of hers that lives in Spain, Carmen, to see if she knew of this organization. Not only did she know of the organization, but she herself sponsored a child from Shangrao Ling Orphanage who was also assigned to the U.S.A. with Emerson. I'm blown away with how small the world is & how kind the human spirit is.
Thank you for this gift of her history.

Dude!!!! Ditto to Pugmama...ever since we hung up...waiting for this! OH MY GOD!! That is your girl. YOUR Emerson Grace. Oh she is simply stunning...those little lips. I love her. I am totally in love with her. This is such a wonderful gift. I can sleep well tonight. :) Thank you for sharing.
SHE HAS SIMPLES!! Look at that smile. Oh my gawd...
She is absolutely adorable! I am so glad you switched posts tonight!
Awesome....love how small the world really is.
When we received Ethan's referral, I found out that there was woman on our orphanage yahoo group that had raised money for his heart surgery as well as another child's cleft lip surgery. She and I hooked up and she offered me more pictures and history provided by Love Without Boundaries...amazing. I turned it into a bigger circle of love and donated money raised through Katie Starr's 2nd birthday party in lieu of presents to sponsor a child from her orphanage with Spina Bifida. She had her surgery and is now in the US with her new family...what a blessing for them and for us.
Love the pics of your beautiful Emerson and I am truly happy for you.
What a lovely and wonderful surprise to have these pictures of your daughter to treasure. A little piece of her history to have for her. She appears to be well loved.
Wait... tell the whole story...
Carmen is only my friend because she contacted me thru My Blog a few months ago to say hello. We haven't met in real life but were connected because of the blog and exchanged e-mails back and forth.
The Power Of The Internet People!!
Do y'all have goosebumps yet? Cuz I do. Call it fate, destiny, red threads or whatever. But everything happens for a reason, right?
I'm so thankful Carmen reached out from Spain. Because of her connection she was able to contact this agency (who she is a member of!! Coincidence? Or fate?) and get this info sent to T right away.
Thank you thank you thank you Carmen! This means so much to my friend and I'm grateful for your help.
PS. T... she's beautiful! I'm so happy you have this priceless little piece of Eme's history.

I am so happy for you and just love the new pics of Emerson! Truly something to cherish! I can attest to the wonders of the internet as well. Not long after we got Meigan, her orphanage starting giving out books that told all about the orphanage and foster villages with color pictures. I sooo wanted a book! I found a person in my group that had an extra and he was kind enough to send us one. Just got it yesterday! Hoping it's something Meigan will treaure later, too:)
I had to come look again. And for the record...I meant to say "Dimples"... LOL!
Gawd is she cute! She has such a beautiful spirit - you can just see it in her face. You can... she is ready for the Paradise life. Lucky girl! :)
I looove Glinda's saying. So true.
I know our experiences are a little different - but, when I met A's birthmom she gave me all of her ultrasound pictures. I know these will be so important to A eventually - and they are so important to me.
These pictures are a part of Emerson's history. And yours.
I am so thrilled that you received them. And you are right, the world is so small.

OMg.. how freaking amazing are those pictures and the story behind them. I'm telling you, the world really is a much smaller place than it seems and I totally believe that 6 person thing.. you know, someone you are connected to everyone but only 6 people. (or something like that)
What beautiful pictures of your little girl! What a blessing for your family!
What a true blessing to receive such a piece of your daughter's history! You deserve every little blessing that comes your way.
K is an awesome decective to put all of of the pieces together. I choose that Fate had a lot to do with it all.
Emerson is just breath taking. I love her little dimples! Can not waitto see Emerson in your arms!! I hope it will be very soon!
Ellen

Vicki
Amazing! Absolutely AMAZING!!!
E is BEAUTIFUL!
What a treasure!
What a blessing!!!!
She is beautiful:)
How wonderful to get these extra pictures:)
I was able to get pics of Miya in foster care (after my adoption was complete and we were home) from FTIA who sponsered her foster care.
It is still extremely difficult for me to look at those pictures. I feel such an ache when I see how fragile she looked, and without me there to protect her. I can't imagine how you must feel seeing these photos before you have her and not knowing she is safe and sound in your arms. These really are some extraordinary pics. Thank you for sharing.
We are glad to ear you enjoy so much this photos. For us it's very important.
Adopchina
